Kerry Chilvers

Kerry started dancing at the age of 6 with the Hawkes school of dancing, at 21 she moved to Footsteps stage school where she completed her first associate in Tap. Kerry went on to open Shuffles School of Dance in October 2001. Shuffles was only ever going to run on a Saturday morning, however soon the classes were full and Kerry had to start more classes during the week to cope with the demand. Shuffles now runs on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, with the timetable growing all the time, this year has seen the introduction of new street dance classes, cheerleading and now gymnastic dance. Kerry also now trains other dance teachers in Tap, Theatre Craft and ballet and can boast excellent exam results at all levels. Kerry now trains under Miss Gout (current president elect with the International Dance Teachers' Association) and hopes one day to go on to become an examiner herself.

Francesca Pastore

Fran started her dance career at the age of just 3 years at The Andrea Salducas School of Dance. During her 15 years as a pupil at the school she gained many examinations in Ballet, Tap and Modern, and also medaled in numerous competitions. Fran then took GCSE dance at her senior school, Highams Park. Fran joined the Shuffles team in September 2004 when we threw her in at the deep end putting her in charge of the Street Jazz class. Before she knew it Fran was teaching 4 days a week at Shuffles and preparing the students for their examinations and competitions. Fran already has her associate in Freestyle dance, and will soon have completed associate tap and theatre craft. Over the past 4 years Fran has also been studying at university and has gained a 2:1 and Masters degree in Forensic Psychology.

Amy joined Shuffles when she was just 11 years old, from a young age Amy proved to be a very promising young dancer, always coming top of her class in exam results and gaining many medals in festivals. Amy completed all her grade examinations with excellent results and went on to complete her Intermediate tap in 2012 gaining an excellent 86%. Amy has now gained her freestyle associate and is on her way to completing her associate in Tap. Amy is a very popular teacher whose students always achieve excellent exam results themselves.
